Year 2001 Tropical Cyclones of the World Poster - During calendar year 2001, fifty tropical cyclones with sustained surface winds of at least 64 knots were observed around the world. NOAA's Polar-Orbiting Operational Environmental Satellites (POES) captured these powerful storms near peak intensity, which are all presented in this colorful poster. These are available from NOAA in two formats: 36"x 36" glossy print and 42"x42" matte print.
